The short version
Timexora is a read-only reference tool. You do not create an account. You do not submit personal information. We do not sell data. We collect basic analytics to understand how the site is used, and we use cookies only where necessary to make the site function.
What information we collect
Information you give us
The only time you voluntarily share information with us is through the contact form. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you wrote. We use that information only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Information collected automatically
When you visit Timexora, our servers log standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, the page you visited, and the time of the request. This is standard practice for any web server and is used for security monitoring and diagnosing errors.
We also use anonymised analytics to understand which pages people find useful. This does not track you personally across sessions or across other websites.
Location data
Some features — such as displaying your local time or suggesting nearby cities — may request access to your device's location. This is handled entirely in your browser. We do not store or transmit your coordinates to our servers.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Theme preference — if you switch to dark mode, a cookie remembers that preference for your next visit. It contains no personal information.
- Analytics — anonymised visit data to help us understand traffic patterns. No personal identifiers are stored.
- Advertising — if ads are displayed on the site, the ad provider (Google AdSense) may set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Most of Timexora will continue to work normally. The only thing you would lose is remembered preferences like your theme choice.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Keep the site running and fix errors when they occur
- Understand which features are useful and which are not
- Respond to messages sent through the contact form
- Detect and block abusive or automated traffic
We do not use your information for marketing. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Third-party services
Timexora uses a small number of third-party services:
- Hosting — our servers are hosted on Hostinger. Their infrastructure processes requests made to timexora.com.
- Google AdSense — when ads are active, Google may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements. You can opt out via Google's ad settings.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, social media tracking scripts, or any cross-site tracking tools.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then deleted. Contact form messages are kept until the matter is resolved, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is anonymised and retained in aggregate form.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to request deletion, and to object to processing. Because we collect very little personal data, most requests will result in confirmation that we hold nothing beyond server logs, which are deleted automatically.
To make a request, use the contact form or email us directly. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Timexora is a general reference tool with no age-restricted content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not notify you by email, because we do not have your email address unless you contacted us. Checking this page occasionally is the best way to stay informed.
